    Due to the characteristics and advantages of high voltage resistance, strong anti-interference performance, corrosion resistance, small size and high reliability, gallium arsenide (GaAs) optical fiber sensing technology is widely used in equipment monitoring in many special environments such as high voltage, large noise, high temperature and strong corrosion resistance. It has been widely used in various transformers, reactors and large generator sets with voltage levels of 35kV to lOOOkV, and can directly monitor the hot spot temperature inside the equipment, truly reflect the operation of the equipment. The international ± IEC60076.2 (new edition) standard and the "Technical Guidelines for Intelligent High Voltage Equipment" (Q/GDWZ410 -2010) issued by the State Grid have made relevant provisions on the use of optical fiber temperature measurement for power equipment such as transformers.
