1. System Overview
Low-voltage drawer switch cabinet is the low-voltage cabinet type commonly used in low-voltage system. In the operation process, the primary connector and busbar in the low-voltage drawer cabinet are too high due to poor contact or insulation aging, which leads to short circuit fault or heat burning of the switch cabinet, which is the most common fault or safety accident of low-voltage system. When the equipment is running for a long time, the contact pressure of the contact of the primary connector is reduced, the contact is poor due to aging, and the contact resistance increases, which leads to the gradual increase of hot spots. If the temperature is too high, the connector will have metal melting point or even arc, resulting in the burning of the primary connector.
A variety of power supply and control lines in the low-voltage drawer cabinet are arranged in a relatively narrow space, so that the heat is gathered and should not be dissipated, causing the temperature to rise. Excessive temperature will cause the current carrying capacity of the circuit breaker to decrease, which is different from the actual setting value, which is easy to cause the circuit breaker protection trip. The fluorescent optical fiber temperature sensor is a temperature measurement technology based on optical signals. The sensor has no conductor structure, is insulated and resistant to electromagnetic interference, and has a small size and a long life. It is very suitable for direct measurement of hot spots of connectors in this scenario.
2. System Features
High insulation and pressure resistance: optical signal transmission, optical fiber protective sleeve adopts high temperature resistant insulation material to meet the insulation and pressure resistance requirements of drawer cabinet;
Direct measurement of hot spots: direct measurement of the temperature of low-voltage drawer cabinet inlet and outlet connectors, busbars and other positions, the temperature is more accurate;
Anti-electromagnetic interference: optical signal measurement, the signal is immune to electromagnetic interference;
High reliability: the temperature measurement accuracy is ± 1 ℃, the data acquisition time is less than 1S, the data is never lost, and the timeliness of response and alarm is fully guaranteed;
True passive sensor: temperature measuring optical fiber probe is small in size (2mm), good in flexibility, excellent in compression, tensile and vibration resistance;
Self-diagnosis function: the device has self-diagnosis function, temperature measurement fiber disconnection alarm, one-time installation, life-long accurate temperature, no manual calibration and maintenance;
Long life: up to 25 years.
3. system composition
The fluorescent optical fiber temperature measurement and monitoring system of MSDGCD low-voltage cabinet is composed of TSF fluorescent temperature sensor, TSR fluorescent temperature sensor, MSDGCD fluorescent optical fiber temperature demodulation instrument, MSDGCD-M display device and MSDGC8000 background software.
